This is "that" go-to place for all your asian food needs... and I mean all... chinese, japanese, filipino, vietnamese, korean, this place has it all... highlights are the fresh fruits in season (lychee, persimmons, etc.), the manapuas or "baos," the live seafood, and many novelty food items from hawaii... pictured is a box of high quality lychee mochi (5.99), and two international canned drinks (2.49 ea) also the brand new Maple flavored Spam... .
A hidden gem, lots great spices and the noodle selection is over the top, I couldn't decide. The store is crammed with Asian products, some hard to find in other places. Aisle are narrow so be careful not to knock over anything. Not much help so be prepared to self navigate and discover something cool

I took my three children with me in search of snacks, especially dango. My daughter has been asking for dango for so long! They didn't have it, but carried the rice flour needed to make it at home. There was sooooo much to explore here, I know there is going to be something interesting to try every time I go in here. The employees were very kind and helpful. They answered my daughters questions and directed us where to find what we were looking for. I don't know why other reviews are saying negative things about them because we had a really positive experience!
I really liked this market, they had tons of Asian essential items that I usually use and need. I will go back if I need more Korean red pepper flakes.
1st time visiting I found ALOT OF GOODIES... I was rushing through my visiting, but this is the market to stop by and find all your asian products... Im making Che thai and found all the things here
I Been coming here for many years so thankful we have Asia Market in Bakersfield. I always find my ingredients every time I feel like cooking. Wide selection of snacks, rice and a lot of varieties of goodies.
The variety of groceries this place has is astounding. My only issue is I have a very large wheelchair And I'm not accessible to the entire store in some places. It's too hard to squeeze through. Or I hit boxes and drop them down. I've always found what I needed or wanted in the store. Except with a few items, items that they do not carry. If you are looking to try different Romens, this place has hundreds of Different types Romens. In the freezer section they have all kinds of different Steam pork dumplings mixed dim. Sum just to name a few things in their freezer section along with lumpia, Fish balls, Their freezers are stuffed to the gills. You have to look at everything to find what you want if you cannot find it, just ask. Update. Still a great place to shop
